The Monroe Civic Center in Monroe, Louisiana, will play host to Bellator Fighting Championships’ May 13 “Bellator 18″ event, which is headlined by a non-title “super fighter” between middleweight champ Hector Lombard and Paulo Filho.

“We are thrilled to be returning to Monroe for our May 13th event,” Bellator founder and CEO Bjorn Rebney said in a release. “The Monroe Civic Center, the City of Monroe, Mayor Mayo and Keep Punching Entertainment were tremendous partners for us in Season 1 and we’re looking forward to putting on another exceptional show to a packed house in one of the loudest, most exciting venues we visited last year.”

The Fox Sports Net-televised card will also feature two semifinal matchups from Bellator’s upcoming tournaments, which begin when the promotion’s second season debuts next Thursday, April 8.
