Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez Off UFC 119; Dollaway vs. Doerksen, Grant vs. Paulino Added
UFC News – MMA And UFC News From Syndicated Sources
A matchup between UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and challenger Cain Velasquez, reported yesterday as a possible main event for UFC 119, will not headline the September 25 event in Indianapolis, according to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole.
A new date for the fight has yet to be determined, as Lesnar just fought at Saturday’s UFC 116, submitting Shane Carwin in the second-round after nearly being finished in the first. Lesnar has been medically suspended until August 18 for cuts suffered in the victory.
A middleweight bout between CB Dollaway and Joe Doerksen and a welterweight fight between TJ Grant and Julio Paulino have been added to the UFC 119 fight card.
