Jorge Rivera vs. Alessio Sakara Rescheduled for UFC 122 in Germany
UFC News – MMA And UFC News From Syndicated Sources
A middleweight bout between Jorge Rivera and Alessio Sakara, originally scheduled for Saturday’s UFC 118, is now set to take place at UFC 122 on November 13 in Oberhausen, Germany, The Boston Herald reports.
The matchup was scrapped from UFC 118′s Spike-televised prelims after Rivera broke his arm and Sakara suffered a knee injury.
Rivera (18-7) has won three-straight, including a second-round knockout of Nate Quarry in March, while Sakara (15-7) has rebounded with a three-fight win streak of his own over the likes of Thales Leites and James Irvin.
The UFC 122 fight card has yet to be officially announced, but is also rumored to include Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Goran Reljic and Amir Sadollah vs. Peter Sobotta.
