WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will look to continue his dominance of the 145-pound division when he likely takes on challenger Manny Gamburyan in the main event of WEC 51 in September, according to MMA Weekly.
Aldo and Gamburyan were last in action at World Exteme Cageifighting’s pay-per-view debut in April, as Aldo (17-1) scored a unanimous decision over Urijah Faber for his tenth-straight win, while Gamburyan (11-4) knocked out former champ Mike Brown to win his third-straight.
