Rising middleweight Mark Munoz will look for his fourth-straight win when he meets veteran 185-pound contender Yushin Okami on the main card of UFC on Versus 2 on August 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The matchup was first reported on Wednesday by MMA Weekly.

Following back-to-back wins in the WEC, Munoz (8-1) suffered a first-round KO to Matt Hamill in his UFC debut last March, but “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” has rebounded after dropping to middleweight, scoring wins over Nick Catone and Ryan Jensen before earning a second-round TKO of Kendall Grove in the “Fight of the Night” at UFC 112 last month.

Despite his top 10 status, Okami (24-5) has frequently fought on preliminary cards due to his frequent decisions, but delivered one of the most impressive victories in his UFC career with a second-round TKO of Lucio Linhares in March for his fourth win in his last 5 fights.

UFC on Versus 2 is also expected to include Jon Jones vs. Vladimir Matyushenko, Joe Stevenson vs. Takanori Gomi and John Howard vs. Jake Ellenberger.
