Fresh off his “Fight of the Night” defeat by Chris Leben at UFC 116, Korean-Japanese Judoka Yoshihiro Akiyama will move from co-headliner to headliner as he takes on top British middleweight Michael Bisping in the main event of UFC 120 on October 16 at London’s O2 Arena, according to Fighter’s Only.

Bisping (19-3) was last in action edging out Dan Miller for a unanimous decision at UFC 114 in May, a bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 110 in February. He has alternated wins and losses in his last four bouts, and will certainly be looking to snap that streak.

Akiyama (13-2-2) was submitted this past Saturday at UFC 116 by Chris Leben, an opponent that Bisping holds a victory over, evening his UFC record at 1-1. The loss to Leben snapped a three fight winning streak, and fifteen fight undefeated streak (including two no contests) for the Judoka who holds victories over notables Alan Belcher, Denis Kang, and Melvin Manhoef.

The UFC 120 fight card, which is expected to air on Spike TV, is also rumored to include Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit, John Hathaway vs. Dong Hyun Kim, and Cheick Kongo vs. Travis Browne.
