Todd Brown Replaces Thiago Silva, Debuts vs. Tim Boetsch at UFC 117

Tim BoetschNewcomer Todd Brown (11-1) will replace an injured Thiago Silva and make his UFC debut against returning light heavyweight Tim Boetsch (11-3) on the preliminary card of “UFC 117: Silva vs. Sonnen” on August 7 in Oakland, California.

The UFC 117 fight card is headlined by middleweight champ Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen, and also features welterweight contenders Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch and Matt Hughes vs. Ricardo Almeida.
