UFC on Versus 2 Announced for August 1 in Salt Lake City with Jones vs. Matyushenko, Okami vs. Munoz

UFC on Versus 2 PosterThe UFC today officially announced it’s long-rumored UFC on Versus 2 event, which takes place on August 1 at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The UFC’s second Versus-televised card is headlined by top light heavyweight prospect Jon Jones vs. Vladimir Matyushenko and also includes a matchup between rising middleweights Yushin Okami and Mark Munoz.

The latest rumored UFC on Versus 2 fight card features:

  • Jon Jones vs. Vladimir Matyushenko
  • Mark Munoz vs. Yushin Okami
  • Joe Stevenson vs. Takanori Gomi*
  • John Howard vs. Jake Ellenberger*

  • DaMarques Johnson vs. Matt Riddle*
  • Dennis Hallman vs. Ben Saunders*
  • Brian Stann vs. Mike Massenzio*
  • James Irvin vs. Igor Pokrajac*
  • Rob Kimmons vs. Steve Steinbeiss*
